Ours is the noblest of professions.  Firefighters must be and always will be consummate professionals, whether they are volunteer, career, or both.  Our customers trust us.  We are called at all hours of the day and night for the most important and unimportant of calls.  Our constituents know no bounds concerning ethnicity, creed, religion, or social status.  No matter how unimportant their emergency may seem to us, it is still their emergency and they call because they know that, no matter what, we will come.  And we do and we will continue to do so.  Through acts of God, acts of nature, acts of terrorism, and even acts of Congress, we continue to do more with less.  Never let the mutts get you down despite their best efforts.  Create a bond with your brother and sister firefighters and remember why we are here...to serve and protect.  Never forget those that have come before us and those that have made the supreme sacrifice.  Learn from the past to ensure the future and no matter how difficult the task at hand may seem to be...Stay the Course...for ours is the noblest of causes.
